The day after Christmas was another prefect sledding day.  We woke up early and headed outside.  Throughout the day, the cousins started filing in.  Craig, Russ, Jim and Spence and their kids all bundled up and headed outside.

We spent the morning sledding down the new and improved (by Rob and Spence) pipeline that went down the backyard.

However, by the early afternoon we migrated over to the neighbor's yard.  They live on the top of this awesome hill and it wasn't long until we had the majority of the kids over there.  It was a pretty good trudge to the the top, but worth it on the way down.  Of course, the perfect hill, needed the perfect jump and so Jim and Spence found their calling as jump-masters for the afternoon.

The kids flew down that hill.   Now, you are going to have to forgive the avalanche (pun intended) of photos that are on this post.  I was going to scale them down, but I realized that very few people even read this little blog.  Therefore, if you are bored, you are released from any obligation of looking at all of the shots.  That being said, I did manage to get quite a few really fun pictures of the kiddos.

Yve and Alaina went down the hill together a bunch of times.  I love this picture of their hair flying!

One of the few times that Ethan went down facing forward.

Myles, handsome kid.

Ben always went down fast, had magnificent crashes and miraculously landed on his feet.  It was pretty amazing.

Jack and Myles

This is the highest in-flight shot I got.  Look at the kid soar!

The kids would often hit the side of the jump and crash through the snow instead of going over the jump.  I love these boots in the air.

yes.  backwards.

Jacky

Maggie graced us with her presence for a few good runs.

Here is the train move.

Jack after a good crash.

Oliver

Jacob, looking rather dashing.

The jump makers.  They were so nice to stay all day and remake that jump!

Lucy had some of the best jumps of the day.  That girl is fierce.

Even little Penny went down a few times.

A hug from Dad didn't make this little love any happier.

Spence, mid-flight.

Steph didn't sled...but she didn't sled in style.  :)

The girls.

Tommy was mugging for the camera.

If you made it this far, pat yourself on the back.  You can rest assured that you have now seen all of our snow/sledding pictures of the winter.  It was a lot of pictures, but everyone stayed out all day.  Next year, we'll go for a double jump.
