Merry Christmas 2018

Christmas Morning we all woke up to see that the Santa's cookies were eaten and the stockings will filled.  Awe...Christmas magic.

Christmas is fun for many reasons, but my favorite part of Christmas is watching the excitement when the kids are little.  They are so fun!

Watching teenagers open presents is pretty good too.  (Not just AS good as the littles.)
I think it was Austin who gave Ethan the toilet paper behind Alaina.  Haha.

Robert buys this for himself every year and then he lets one of the kids give it to him.  I never actually see him eat any of it (is it the same bag, every year?  We may never know...)  It doesn't matter...he always acts surprised when he gets it.

Austin was not super impressed with his snowman pajamas.

Yep.  We fell for the onsies pajama fad.  They were all good sports (only Alaina has ever worn that onesie since...)

I got this Instant Pot with lots and lots of anticipation.  Sadly, I've used it about 5 times since and I've had 4 disasters.  Still, my mom keeps raving about it, so maybe when she visits, she can show me how to use it!

oooooooh.  Santa brought him the 'jumping on bad-guys wii' that he asked for!

And Santa brought Jason his magic kit.  Whew.  Good thing Santa was on top of things this year.

Brothers.

Austin was the 'winner' gift giver this year.  He got this shirt for Alaina and I've never seen a shirt so perfect for anyone!

See what Robert got?  Isn't he excited?  He should be...we went through about a million reviews before we finally settled on this exact model to ask Santa for.  It came just in time since our last one finally gave up the ghost about a month before Christmas.

Little Brothers.

This is what Alaina gave Robert...wrapped in about 8 different boxes.

I'm thinking this is my best look.  No?

The Bee Man got Bee socks.  :)

We topped off Christmas by having Alaina bake all these Orange Rolls.  Best.  Christmas.  Ever.

Christmas Eve 2018

Here it is.  The long-awaited premiere of 'The Nativity' by the Jones kids.  They were in charge of their own costumes this year, which made for a little more excitement (especially when it came to Jason's costume.)

Mary...waiting for her brothers to  get it together.

Trip to Bethlehem.

Our angel appearing to the Shepherds.

The Shepherd .

Another Shepherd being shown the star (on the tree)

Jason is my dramatic one.  He went full into the part of angel, heralding the birth of Christ.    It was pretty awesome.

The birth of Jesus.

Ethan had duel parts of shepherd and wise men.  He rose to the challenge.  (That means he got to walk by the Christmas tree twice.  It was pretty special.)

And our posed picture.   Awe.

And here they are in their Christmas Eve Pajamas

All ready to dream of sugar plums while Santa got to work.

Emmett and Jason's Birthdays!

Here is the invitation (I just changed the name on the card since we were having the boys celebrate together.

Here is the cake.  It was a fire cake, in-between the two dragons.
