A few more Christmas extras.

Here are the kids playing out in the back.

Our big boys.  Austin, Devin & Ethan.

Christmas morning cartoons.  Austin couldn't handle life yet, it seems.

Playing games with grandma.

Ethan helped me watch Shydon's Cookie while Gina and her family did Christmas up in Tahoe.

This little clown grabbed these salad mixes and said, "Look!  I a reindeer!"

Merry Christmas 2015!!!!!

Here they are...the Christmas Morning Pictures.  I have to say, it was all a bit hit.  I loved to see all that paper flying and ear to ear grins.  This was definitely a fun Christmas for us all.

The kids got all three of the first Hunger Games.  The twins have read all of the books and we thought they were finally old enough to watch them.  For the next three nights we had Hunger Games marathon.

Look how happy this child is with his little M&M's candy.  It's easy to please this little guy.

Mom and the twins made these awesome hot pads for me.  (Thanks for working with them, Mom!)  It was exactly what I asked for.

I love these two little candy-caned boys that appear somewhere in so many of the pictures!

Yum.  Ice cream.

Apparently this little gem has been around since Robert, Ron and Tonnette were teenagers.  As long as we don't have to have it at our house...I'm cool with a little Britney.

Christmas is made a little better (if possible.) with Mom's Dutch Babies.

Alaina's Christmas miracle  A good book.  A warm day.  And a good tree to enjoy them both in.

For Christmas Eve day, Jonathan and his family came to spend the day with us.  These cousins have so much fun together.  It is so crazy that when you get these two families together, you have 8, very loud, very excited boys together.  That is some loud, fun chaos.  Thank goodness for Alaina and Sienna!

During the day the kids made some pretty cool gingerbread houses while we made Christmas dinner.  Robert helped out with the kids, but couldn't help himself in also competing with them.  It's just something in his blood.  All of the kids made some pretty terrific houses.

Ethan and Devin were the judges and they couldn't help themselves from giving Robert a first prize.  I thought that the knowledge that the average age of competitor was 8 years old would take a little of the wind out of his sail, but nope.  He was darn proud of his big win.  (I have to admit, although I don't particularly want to, that he did an awesome job on that house.  Still.  That guy!)

Christmas Eve was a fun evening.  The kids had a talent show which included some musical instruments.  Devin played the piano.

Here is Ethan on the cello.

Next came the Christmas Story acted out by the kiddos.  Mom was the narrator.

Here are our Joseph and Mary.

We were able to bring a small amount of controversy when we got an impromptu performance of Alaina acting out the actual birth of Jesus.  This wasn't for all audiences, I imagine, but we all thought it was pretty funny.

Our sweet shepherds.

A very sweet angel.

Three wise men.

After the Christmas story Jennifer read some fun Christmas stories to the kids.

After Jonathan and his family left to get ready for Santa at their house, our kids opened a couple of gifts.  What says Christmas more than your own personal Calvin and Hobbes book?

They also got some fun winter hats from G-ma Scribner and some very Christmasy pjs from me.

Before we knew it we had five little loves all sleeping, dreaming of reindeer and gum drops.

To help get everyone into the Christmas mood, we took one evening and went to see all of the fun Christmas lights.  Mom and Dad promised to take us to the most amazing house ever...and they didn't disappoint.  We saw a lot of great houses, but this one was insane. Just look how bright it was as we walked up!  That's enough electricity to light up a small town.  This house was pretty popular and it had a million people coming by to see it.  It even had it's own brass band playing Christmas carols.  Can you just imagine having these people as your neighbors?!? Insane, but very fun to visit.

Emmett isn't quite sure what he is looking at.

They had put a complete castle facade on the front of their home.

Tonnette photo-bombed this picture.  :)

Every inch of this home was covered in Christmas.  Even the garage was open displaying a complete Christmas town and train set.  This house was just a normal home, but these decorations must have cost a complete fortune!

Everyone was a little overwhelmed, I think.

At another home we visited, they not only had decorations, but a Santa in a sleigh.  I just hope that Robert didn't take all these homes as a personal challenge.
