And what comes after Thanksgiving?

Christmas tree hunting.

We went to Thompson's Tree farm and search and searched until we found the most perfect tree.

The little boys found a Charlie Brown tree.

They all took turns cutting it down.

And voila.  We got ourselves a tree.

They put it up.

And it was ready to decorate.

I think we may have tested Mom's sanity when we let the little boys 'help' her decorate the tree.  They kept creating 'branch parties' with ten balls per poor branch.

Mom, Dad and Tonnette gave all our kids an early Christmas.  I didn't get a picture of the twins, but here is Ethan with his Hulk shirt.  Already this has become one of his favorites.

Mom also got the little boys these cool books.  Emmett's book has the names of everyone in the family written all the way through the book as sweet snowflakes.  Jason's book is an "I SPY" book, but you are always looking for him.  The boys loved these books.  (So did I!)

Here is Tonnette getting ready to give the kids their present.

And....it's a hit.  Incredibles 2.

It fun to have an early Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving 2018!

This year I had so many people helping with dinner.  It was so much easier than doing the whole thing yourself.

Alaina showed Tonnette how to make orange rolls.

They were delicious!

Here is a picture of Austin putting together his pie.

And the final product.  Everything was delicious but the best part was being able to share it all with our family.

We all ate so much that we had to take a nice walk around the neighborhood to make room for dessert.  The night was just beautifull

Look at those pink clouds painting our blue sky.

Home again and ready to dig into to the pies.   You wouldn't believe how quickly we were able to polish off all of those yummy treats.

After that we stayed up a little to play some games.  These two made a good team.

Emmett giving Dad a nice back-scratch.  I think its safe to say that they were good buddies.

All dressed up and ready to go.  Somehow we managed to get a couple of pictures before church started.

Dad and Robert got lucky and were able to go to Emmett's preschool Thanksgiving feast and play.  Not only did they get to see this cuteness...they also got to eat a fabulous food.  The feast was a complete, homemade spectacular.

Mom and I, on the other hand, got to go and join Jason at his 1st grade Thanksgiving Feast.  (They were both at the exact same time, and so we were forced to split up)  I love my little Jason, but cafeteria food is cafeteria food, no matter what day it is.  Still, it was fun to join Jason at school.

Mom and the little boys having a serious UNO game.  (FYI - Alaina's not dead.)

Here are the little boys doing what the do best.  Being cuties.

And playing in the leaves!

JOY.
