For our last morning in Virginia, we went to Yorktown, where General Cornwallis surrendered to General Washington and ended the Revolutionary War. There's a really cool monument set up on the top of the hill that remembers all who died that day.
The indignities that Rob goes through to make his boys happy. :)
We then went down to the waterfront where the French sailed in to save the day under Admiral De Grasse.
Bon Courage!
It was a lovely end to a wonderful Birthday Weekend.
