In March we got a visit from Russ and Kari and their three, awesome boys.  Ok, it wasn't just a visit for us, but a in-between visit as they went to take their family to Disneyland.  Ben just got of his mission a week before and Danny was just weeks away from going into the MTC.  We were so happy to get them when we did.  It was a short trip but we managed to pack in a good visit to Hoover Dam.

We walked across the bridge over to the "Winged Figures of the Republic" - two huge bronze statues of angels.  It was the first time we walked over to the statues, but the kids really wanted to see them since they are talked about in the Percy Jackson series.

We even rubbed their toes and left some coins for good luck...

Another first was going on a tour though the dam.  It wasn't too crowded, which meant that there were only a million people instead of the 10 million that are usually there.  Besides the very crowded elevators (it was so tightly packed that you couldn't even move your arms once everyone was in) the crowds weren't too bad.

Once we were home, we spent our time just hanging out...

Or playing silly games like perplex.

It went by quickly, but we had so much fun see the Scribner gang and especially hanging out with Ben, all growed up.  (shockingly, he is the same age as Robert was when we met...yikes!!!)

We loved our little visit and hope there is another one in the future.  The more, the merrier!
