Our last day at Spencer's and really our last day of Summer, we spent on the beach.  It was another great San Diego day (a little cooler than the day before, but still wonderful.)  Alaina got out a surfed a little big more, but mostly everyone just played.

Ellie got out there and surfed for a bit.

And then the girls warmed up.

The boys boogie boarded.

And sat in their giant hole.

Rob played with the little boys.  (He said the water was too cold to get in.)

Spencer got out a few times alone.  He really won the awesome uncle award for spending so much time out there with my kids, pushing them out on the waves, and helping them have a great experience on the waves.  He is a patient teacher and the kids love him so much.  (Me too!)

And with that, we said said farewell to our carefree summer days and hopped back into the car to get back to reality.
