November 2021

After nearly two years of waiting, JobCorp finally called us and told us that they were accepting people onto campus.  Ethan had been ready and slated to go right when COVID hit in 2019, but then everything shut down.  We waited and waited and waited...and the day finally came.

Here we are out to dinner to celebrate.

The next day we packed Ethan up and dropped him off at the airport.

The goodbyes.

Ethan is very excited to start the Welding program that they have there.  It is a difficult program and it won't be easy get through it, but Ethan is very determined to do his best.

Ethan went to Tooele to stay the night with Russ and Kari, before he went onto campus.  When he got there, he got the most wonderful surprise.  His best friend, Riley Pruitt, had been called on a mission to Korea.  However, because of backups with COVID he was sent to serve in Tooele for a few months.  Russ and Kari invited him for dinner and Ethan was able to spend the evening with him.  so fun.
