Christ the Redeemer

We took a tram up to see Christ the Redeemer for the sunset.

Here we are, on our way up, up, up.

We also spent a day walking around the city.  

This prison-looking place was a church.  Yikes.

We walked into this chapel on our way up to Christ the Redeemer.  The windows were so pretty.

They had this grotto with the strangest candles.

And we walked up the Escadaria Selarón.  The whole, long, windy staircase is done tiles.
