Praia Ipanema

Oh my, but it was a pretty day in Rio de Janeiro.  The water, however, was very chilly!  Robert refused to get in at all.  Baby. 

I specifically took these pictures in front of all the beach-goers and their string bikinis and their Brazilian bare bottoms everywhere you looked.  Also, I bypassed most of the garbage on the beach.  From this perspective, it was a bit of a paradise.  

The kids were jumping off this little cliff, and so Laina thought she'd join them.

See the cute turtle?

The turtle stopped her from jumping.

She jumped!  Here she is swimming back.

And the twins got back in that cold water.
