July 3rd, 2019
We celebrated the forth, on the third with the Sugar Hill fireworks.
People from the area usually spend the day at the park. They bring coolers and lunch and there is a huge set up of food trucks and bouncy houses. If you don't get there hours early, then you'll never find parking.
Unless...you know someone who lives right by the park. Which we do. We parked our car at the Adam's house and we walked up to the park about 30 minutes before the fireworks started.
It was excellent.
To make things better, we saw some friends of ours who had been waiting since noon. They had set up their blankets right at the very front of the grass. We walked in, plopped down and waited a few minutes until the fireworks started. Seriously, the best way to do the 4th of July. :)
The fireworks did not disappoint!
We love the forth of July so much. And we love our country. I feel so much gratitude to live in a free country and enjoy the rights and opportunities that I have had in my life. There are many wonderful countries and people in the world, but nothing is as special as home.
God Bless America.
