Christmas 2025

Alaina snuck off to Ann's house to finish the binding on the quilt she made so long ago.  I've been promising to finish it for the last 5 years.  I loved it so much!  It still is the most beautiful quilt I've ever seen.

After we stuffed ourselves on Emmett's cake, we moved on to gorge ourselves on more sugar with graham cracker gingerbread houses.

After we finished putting together the houses, we went straight into the Christmas story.

How much can you jam into one evening?  Well, we managed to get some cookies and soda out for Santa.  (even Santa wasn't being too healthy this Christmas.  No milk for him!)

Finally we tucked all the kiddos into bed, put on a Christmas movie for the older kids, and finished up wrapping all the Christmas gifts.  At last, all was calm and peaceful, and ready for a lovely Christmas morning.

This amazing kid turned 11 years old.  I can't believe how much he has grown up since we moved here to West Virginia.  Emmett is such a smart, funny, cool kid, and it was so much fun to have Ethan and Mariah arrive in time to celebrate his birthday.
