We decided what we really needed in our lives was one more visit to another theme park.  So, we took off to Disneyland.  

Although I'm not the hugest fan of theme parks in general, I had to admit that they sure know how to decorate for the holidays.  

I also haven't ever seen the lights down the main drag at night.  It was really fun to watch all the different light-shows and fireworks.

Blue Springs State Park

On New Years Day we had the coolest experience by going to Blue Springs State Park to see the manatees.  I've never seen manatees in the wild, and I've certainly never see huge pods of them swimming up a river.  It was quite the experience.

We also got another warm, sunny winter day in Florida, which made it even nicer.  Our weather was somewhere between chilly and warm, ad so the jackets and sweatshirts were coming on and off every time we walked out of the sahde.

We'll end on a pictures of Naomi.  This cute girl looked so grown up.  It's so great to watch these kids grow into young adults.

We joined the Spencer family in 'Jumping into the New Year!'  After waiting all night for the big moment, we even got Robert out of his cave to join in the festivities.  He didn't exactly 'jump' but he was excused from the commotion.

We even got the Disneyland treatment with fireworks in the backyard.
