And another shot for the twins.

Little boys waiting patiently

We were able to take the family to the Atlanta Aquarium which was, as always, a bit hit.

They have such a fun selection of fish, and we were able to see both the dolphin and the seal shows this time.

Isn't that lurking fish scary?

My little guppies.

When the twins finally made it home, we were able to celebrate their Birthdays!

Happy 15th Birthday, Twinnies!!!!

These two kids have been such a joy in my life.  They tried to kill me off in the beginning, but I'm glad I survived the pregnancy and the baby/toddler years, because, seriously, as soon as these two were potty-trained, they stopped needing me.  They just played with each other all day long, having weird twinnie conversations with each other and basically keeping each other entertained for the last 15 years.

Now, every now and then the rest of us get invited into Twin world, and we take what we can get.  Both these kids are so kind, thoughtful and good-natured.  I know they love all of us, but the twinnie bond is pretty intense.  These two rarely fight and always have each other's back.  They are creative and funny and I'll bet a million dollars they won't even mind that they don't get their own Birthday Post.

I sure do love my twinnies.

Now...in order to keep this post upbeat and positive, I won't mention how being in the car with them as they drive with their learning permit is giving me a DOUBLE heart-attack...I'll just say, if I make it through the next six months unscathed, it'll be a miracle.

Happy Birthday, babies.

Laina's present to Austin

Presents from Grandma and Grandpa.

And Austin's present to Alaina (a hot-chocolate bar.)  To be fair, though, it was just as much a present from me and Mom...Austin was more the 'creative director' while we were the engineers.

It really was good, though.

Mom and Dad also treated us to an ice-cream at Snowy-Rolls.  Alaina's favorite!
