Jason's Baptism
December 28th, 2019

Jason turned 8 and 8 is GREAT!

We were so happy to be able to have Jason's Baptism, even though it was in the middle of the worst flu season ever, and the middle of all Christmas/New Years celebrations.  We had gone through weeks  of one person having the flu to another.  Half of the ward was out sick and before school had gotten out, tons of kids were home with this same flu.

It was the pits.

Because of that, we decided to keep the baptism really small.  We really didn't want to spread our sickness around to any more people.

Sorry Mom.

Even though we managed to get Mom sick too...we were so happy to have Mom, Dad and Tonnette all there to celebrate Jason's baptism.  It made the day extra special for him.

Our big brother.

Jason got his special triple combo from Mom and Dad.

Rob and Jace.

Jason is such a empathetic, sweet, kind soul.  He is always looking out for a chance to do a 'secret kindness' for anyone he can find.  He loves all of his teachers and friends with an open heart.  He is a great example of Christ-like love.

We're so proud of our sweet boy.

Happy New Years!

Last night of 2019 ended with a New Year's Dance for the big kids.

The theme was, "Dance across the Decades."  Which basically meant, dress anyway you want.  But we chose the 70's for the twins.

Just look at these thrift store winners!  (Boots and all!)

I think Alaina was made for the 70's.

She's got the hair.

The 'tude.

And, for sure, the right outfit.

Austin is happy to be in any decade that Alaina is in.

I also found an amazing outfit for Ethan.

He choose not to wear it.

I guess his decade is, like, yesterday.

Good bye and Good night
2019

This kid insisted on a personal photo shoot with his dog.

Who am I to deny him?
