Space Museum - Day Three

Front and center we got to see Grandpa Speakman's Blackbird.  We know he didn't build the whole thing, but he did help design it.  That makes it Grandpa's plane.

The rest of the planes were pretty cool as well  (Not as cool as the Blackbird...but awesome nonetheless.) 

 

Potomac River - Day Two

Walking up and down the Potomac River was beautiful.  We got another blue-sky day.  

 

D.C. - Day One

At the end of June, we took a big trip to Virginia.  We spent the first day walking through D.C. 

We saw the Washington Monument.

The memorials.

The Lincoln Memoria.

The Vietnam memorial.

The White House (with the new and uninspired extra gate beyond the extra gate.)  But if you really look hard...it is back there.

We ended the day eating overly-expensive food from a truck.
