Jason turned 14!

For his birthday, Aunt Lolo gave old Jason the royal treatment.  He even got a Martinelli.  For breakfast!

All I know is that Lora was making me look bad.  Jason couldn't have been more pleased.

Then came the presents.

After such a fancy breakfast, we decided to try it all over again.  Breakfast for dinner for everyone!

For a cake we had a strawberry shortcake tower.

Happy 14, sweet boy!

Christmas Sunday

Aren't we cute?

These two girls are not so shabby either.

For our first week, we mostly hung out with the Spencers.  I had brought our school work with us, and so while the Spencer kids were at school...so were we.  About a week in, the little girls got really sick.  Then, a few days later, Jason got sick.  A few more days and Emmett went down.  Finally, I was slammed with this same sickness.  It was brutal.  The funniest thing is, ever since we started homeschooling, we have not been dealing with hardly any colds or viruses.   I'm sure that the girls got their sickness from school, and since we haven't been building up our immunity, it hit us so much harder than it seemed to hit the girls.   I was down for a few days with the whole deal, sore muscles, fevers, chills, head cold/headaches and basically everything else you can think of.

In between the sicknesses, we were able to take some of the sick kids with us.  I was able to join Lora, Mark, Lora and the girls to a park concert that was super fun.

Mark repainted this fun bunk-bed castle for the girls.

When Jason was down, but Emmett was feeling better, we made it out to Cocoa Beach.  It was such a chill day.  Not chilly...just chill.

We watched about 5 cruise ships take off into the great blue yonder.

Ice Cream!
