I took the boys on a weekend field trip to Jackson's Mill in WV.  It's about a four hour drive and we stayed in a little motel for the weekend.  During the first day we went to a festival being held at Jackson's Mill.  It is where Stonewall Jackson grew up.

They had a reenactment, where the South won (naturally).  It was such an awesome reenactment.  All of the soilders were so old, and it took them forever to fall to the ground after they were shot.  For the ones who laid down on the ground to shoot...it took a hot minute for them to get back up off the ground.

We watched a few bluegrass bands sing.

They had an impressive tractor show that had some amazing tractors.  They had new ones and antiques.

This was the boys favorite truck.  The guys selling the pickles looked just like the truck logo.  It was soooo West Virginia.
