At the end of January, Emmett competed in the Jefferson Math Field day.  Only two kids per class were chosen, and it was a cool, but very stressful situation.  They practiced after school for about a month, and then the actual competition was pretty fierce.  Emmett's team didn't win any awards, but I was so very proud of him for first being chosen, and second...by doing his best in the competition.

Our winter sunset.

Robert put the shelves in on the shed.

Alaina squeezed in a few hours to paint a little over the holiday.
