To celebrate my birthday, Robert took me to a concert.  Actually, he took me out to dinner.  After we ate dinner we looked on the local events online, and found out there was a concert going on at the casino in our little town.  Because the concert had already started, we managed to snag some tickets for about 15 bucks each.  The original prices were above 150, so we thought, 'eh, why not?' and off we went. 

It was very reminiscent of one of our first dates.  Toad the Wet Sprocket was the opening band.  That was one of the bands we saw when we were dating in California.  We walked in and found out that our 15 dollar tickets were just 4 rows back, so that was an extra treat.

The next band was Barenaked Ladies.  They sang all their old 90's songs which was really fun.  The funniest thing to see was that they were as old as we were.  Just a whole bunch of old geezers getting together to rock out.  

It made a fun end to a nice Birthday date.  But luckily, since all of us are so old, the concert was over by 10 and we were back home by 10:30  😂
